Once you’ve determined it’s time to fix my credit, we’ll review your credit report in the first stage of our credit education services. We’ll search for inaccuracies such as collections, charge-offs, tax liens, judgements, and late payments that could be affecting your credit score.
Then we’ll write to each of the three credit bureaus (Transunion, Experian, and Equifax), as well as the individual creditors. Disputes, appeals, validation requests, and goodwill interventions will all be addressed in the letters.
Keep in mind that we can do this immediately away for all of the negative elements on your reports. You can also verify your progress report by logging into our client portal, which will show you what has been deleted and what remains. Keep in mind that the credit bureaus’ responses will be delivered to you. So, as soon as those documents arrive, please send them to us so that we can update those progress reports. We can also access updated reports from credit monitoring to update your progress reports if you have it set up.
We’ll look at the items that haven’t been removed yet and write new messages to them. We’ll repeat this process every 30-45 days until you’re satisfied with the number of removals and/or credit score improvement you’ve achieved as a result of removing mistakes. Failure to maintain a current balance on your Extra Debit Card account may result in delinquent reporting to credit reporting agencies which may negatively impact your credit score.
